For several years now, the transportation sector is subject to an important increase of its costs, linked to the rise of gas price.

Since january 1st, 2008 and as authorized by the law of january 5th, 2006, the road transport companies may adjust their transportation rates according to the variations of gas price and of the weight of this item in the company's budget.

A variable calculation system of the diesel surcharge is thus applied today. This percentage applies to road transportation done by SLS. It is established on the base of the average diesel price in France and according to precise calculation methods.
